1. What is the tuition rate and registration fee?
Tuition will be paid monthly. 30-minute lessons are $60 per month.
Monthly tuition fees will remain the same no matter the number of weeks or lessons in a month. If lessons are cancelled for any reason (including holiday, illness, weather, vacation, etc.), the monthly fee remains the same.
Tuition is due by the 10th of the month from September through May. A $10 late fee will be added for late payments.
Instead of passing on hidden fees (registration fee, recital fee, xerox fee, book deposit, etc.) to you, I would rather be upfront when a book purchase is needed. I will order the book, and I will add the cost to your monthly bill.
2. What is included in Tuition?

3. When and how do I pay for my child’s lessons?
Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of every month, and it is expected to be paid for the upcoming month.
You can pay via cash, check, PayPal, Venmo or credit card. AutoPay is highly recommended.
4. Where is Wildflower Music Studio located?
Wildflower Music Studio is located in the music room of St. Joseph School in Danville, PA. The address is 1027 Ferry St., and parking is located in the front lot.
5. Do we need to have a piano?
Yes, a piano must be available for at-home practice. If families do not have a piano they must get one before regular lessons can begin. I will not schedule a student who does not have an instrument to practice on.
When purchasing a keyboard there are a lot of factors to consider. You can read THIS to consider all options and see some specific suggestions. The most important things for a keyboard is that it has 88 keys, and that they keys are weighted and full-size (not smaller than real piano keys). In addition to a keyboard, you will need a bench, power jack, music stand, pedal, and headphones (unless you want to hear your child practicing all the time!). You can find bundles on Amazon, but not all keyboards are created equal, so I would lean toward a Yamaha brand, or one of the ones mentioned below.

6. When will you schedule lessons?
Wildflower Music Studio operates based on the St. Joseph School Calendar, and is closed all days that St. Joseph School is closed (excluding the summer session). Lessons are held during the summer, and August-May (in alignment with the school calendar, though the start/end weeks may vary). Lessons will only be offered during the school day - Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-3:30 PM.
If St. Joseph School is closed then Wildflower Music Studio will be closed as well.
7. What books will my child use?
At our first meeting I will evaluate which book I believe is best suited for your child’s learning style, developmental abilities, and interest.
